The Microgreens Weekly Digest
One email a week. The research, the money, and what to do Monday.
Thirteen to seventeen stories every Friday morning. New papers out of the plant science journals, farms opening and farms closing, market rules, and what a tray is actually selling for.
Nothing goes in that has not been read first. When a study is small, or the sample is thirty plants in one growth chamber, the letter says so.

A week of microgreens reporting, in one email
Most of what circulates about microgreens is the same handful of claims passed along without anybody checking. The letter exists because somebody has to read the actual papers, and because the business side of this crop almost never gets covered at all.
So each issue runs both. The research, with the finding stated plainly instead of the abstract pasted in. And the money: who opened, who closed, what a state legislature just funded, which market changed its vendor rules, what a grower in Wisconsin learned the hard way.
There is no filler in it because there is enough real news to fill it.
What a week in the letter looks like
Headlines that ran in a single issue. Not a description of the beat. The beat itself.

Three more ran in the same issue. Read it in full, or work backwards through the archive.
I started reading this literature in 2017, wanting to know whether any of the claims held up. Some did not. The ones that did turned out to matter more than the marketing ever said. Two books came out of that reading, one on growing and one on eating.
The letter is the weekly version of the same job. Read what came out, say what it means, leave out what does not survive the reading. More about all of it on the about page.
What happens after you sign up
One email, Friday morning, from Microgreens World. Nothing else. No daily sends, and no sequence of pitches dressed up as lessons.
Every issue carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom and it works on the first click. Your address is not sold, rented or traded. If you would rather read before subscribing, the whole archive is open.
Not ready for a weekly email? Start in the library instead: the nutrition room, the growing room, or the business room.
Educational only. Not medical, legal, financial or business advice. Microgreens are food, and nothing here says a crop treats or prevents a condition. No income is promised. Selling rules change by state and county.
