Kale Banana Green Smoothie

Kale Banana Green Smoothie

This is a simple, sweet kale and banana smoothie. Use oat milk for more sweetness, or nut milk for more protein.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups baby kale
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 5-6 ice cubes
  • 1 cup reduced-fat milk or nondairy milk

Instructions

  1. Wash the kale and chop
  2. Peel the banana a cut it in two
  3. Add kale, banana, honey, ice cubes, and milk (or non-dairy milk) to a blender
  4. Blend on medium-low speed for 30 seconds
  5. Increase speed to medium-high
  6. Blend for 30 more seconds until very smooth
  7. Pour and enjoy!
